On the eve . .
Tonight is the eve of the second sitting week since the Federal Budget, given on the 8th of May. Scandal still surrounds the ALP, but it is with anticipation that I wait for tommorrows Question Time and day in Parliament. Why? Is it an opportunity to get distracted from school work? Or a time to forget that assignment that was due last week? No, it is exciting looking at the hoopla that goes on inside the House of Reps chamber. All week I will be sitting on the edge of my seat watching with rapted attention to the shenanigans that will indefinitely ensue. Craig Thomson continues to lead the headlines in all the major newspapers and media outlets in the national cities, but also on the medias agenda, is the possibility of ANOTHER leadership spill for the ALP. God forbid that they change leaders again, especially after the horrendous events of feburary this year. Kevin Rudd, is surprisingly staying true to his work, laying low within the party and steering clear of most media, and yet his name still is popping up as a contender. The government's whip Joel Fitzgibbon having been named as the leaker of this story but today has taken to social media outlet Twitter to deine the allegations, but what proof do we have about any of it? On the other side of politics, I am sure Mr. Abbott and his colleagues are gearing up to have a field day, with the allegations and possibility of another supposed spill; because in reality regardless of what may or may not be going down in camp Gillard, the Opposition will take, as precedent shows us, any opportunity to bring to light the governments disunity and fighting. Fighting that may or may not be present or as apparent at the opposition likes us to believe. So it is with anticipation that I wait for tomorrows day in parliament like a child waits for their birthday, as it gives me a reason to get up and be excited, about what the day will bring.
